Yo, this is Renmare!! Here to answer some questions relating to this project.
First off: No this is not actually a “site testing program”.
There is no real data being collected (I don’t even know how to do that!! I’m a beginner when it comes to coding).
This is an experimental form of storytelling akin to a Visual Novel style game or Choose Your Own Adventure story.
I thought it would be fun to take advantage of the fact that my “Portfolio” is in fact a website
and create a story that’s told through text and interaction on a site,
where the hyperlinks you click on determine your story’s outcome.
This is very much inspired by Portal and yes,
RUIST_P’s name is a reference to GLaDOS (one of my all time favorite characters!!).
It was also partially inspired by Dan Salvato’s DDLC, Kikiyama’s Yume Nikki, Ghost (and Pals)’ Reckless Battery Burns,
and the interactive element of Deco*27’s Milgram.
I can’t guarantee they’re all exactly the same as this project,
but if you like this consider checking them out!!
Despite all these inspirations, it is supposed to be an entirely original story,
not a direct copy or even directly inspired by any one source.
A whole new experience you could say

Lastly, if you don’t like the ending you get the first time around,
feel free to try again as a lot of little secrets are hidden throughout!!
